Valentine’s Day is a special occasion for many couples, but it can also be costly. Is all of this Valentine’s Day spending in the name of love? According to Wallethub’s 2022 Valentine’s Day Survey, fear may also be a driver. Fortunately, fancy dinners and high-priced gifts aren’t the only ways to show someone you care, and if you’re on a budget, there are plenty of ways to celebrate without breaking the bank. So, in this episode, I will be talking about romance on a budget.
One way to save money is to plan a romantic evening at home. Instead of going out to a fancy restaurant, cook a special meal together using ingredients you already have on hand or buy them at a lower cost. Listen in as I explain some statistics about how much people are spending, other ways you can make your significant other feel special, and how to show more appreciation for your loved one. Remember, the most important thing is to spend time together and show love for each other.
“I think what’s most important is that your special someone knows how you feel about them, that you pay attention and appreciate them. Share your feelings in a permanent way, be thoughtful and show appreciation. “ – Tracey Bissett
